Why Vote for Andrew Brim?
WHAT DO WE BELIEVE IN?
Gun Control
Should U.S. gun control laws be strengthened?
Yes, the gun control laws should be strengthened to ensure safety of the people and to help protect mass shootings and terrorist attacks throughout our country.
Should there be more restrictions on the current process of purchasing a gun?
Yes there should be more restrictions on the current process of purchasing a gun because it will protect our country from future attacks.
National Security
How would you prevent an event like the attack at the Boston Marathon in 2014 or the attacks in San Bernardino in 2015 from occurring?
We can help prevent an event like the attack at the Boston Marathon in 2014 or the attacks in San Bernardino by adding more TSA checkpoints to make sure no guns or deadly weapons can jeopardize the safety of our civilians.
Are National Security Agency (NSA) surveillance programs constitutional? Are they necessary to protect the United States from terrorist attacks?
The program itself is unconstitutional because it violates privacy of citizens but if the NSA needs to investigate a criminal or someone with a criminal record and see it as necessary, then they should be allowed to investigate them.
Should the military be allowed to enhance their interrogation techniques?
Yes the military should be allowed to enhance their interrogation techniques if the person that is being interrogated can affect public safety and if the military has a reason to do so.
Should the U.S. government have the power to indefinitely detain U.S. citizens suspected of terrorist activities?
If the U.S. government has a probable cause of thinking someone could commit terrorist activities then they should be able to detain them, but if they have no reason to be detain, we have no right to do so.
Immigration
What is our stance on immigration?
We will allow anyone into this country, but we have to make sure to improve background checks, and to limit the total amount of people in the country to avoid over population.
Are we willing to accept immigrants from war-torn nations, such as Syrian refugees?
Yes, but we have to have extensive background checks and to make sure to have checkpoints on the people every 6 months-1 year.
How will we ensure immigration does not threaten the safety of the nation?
By checking up on the immigrants every 6 months to a year to make sure they aren't committing crimes and endangering our country.
Is the wall on the U.S. and Mexican border necessary?
No the wall isn’t necessary to build because it will cost a lot of money and will only slow down the illegal immigrants that will most likely get in anyway.
Education
Should the government increase taxes to lower student interest rates
We shouldn’t increase taxes to lower student interest rates because everyone will only pay more money to the government in the end and most people won’t see the benefits to paying higher taxes rather than education.
Should the government increase funding to provide free college?
No because it would just end up increasing taxes and take away money in the government.

ISIS/ISIL
What is the solution with ISIS?
Being able to find specific locations they are to take them out rather than bombing big areas that will end up killing civilians.
Should the United States take stronger military action against ISIS?
Yes, because they give a danger to our country and the safety to our people.
North Korea
What actions need to be taken to deal with the continued missile/weapon tests?
Protect the people in the countries around the country, and let them continually fail tests. But if a missile reaches outside their country, then acts should be made.
How do we ensure our allies, South Korea and Japan, are protected in the region?
We will shoot down and missiles that go outside of North Korea at any of our allies.
